Takaaki Sano
A photographer from Adachi Ward, Tokyo.
At the age of 13, he stopped going to school and lived a reclusive life for about seven years. After receiving a study professor from Shinichi Ishizuka, who later became a manga artist, he entered a university in the United States. After that, he held solo exhibitions in Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Tokyo. Based on the near-death experience he had in a psychiatric ward at the age of 16, he actively works on photographs of domestic and international artists. Winner of IMAnext “MEMORIES” sponsored by Amana. After working as an elementary school science instructor at Shanghai Japanese School and an English instructor at Soka High School, she is currently working as a freelancer.
Takaaki Sano
